These thin willow hoops are made from white willow. White willow is made from willow that has been stripped of its bark in the springtime and left to dry in the sun, leaving it a much lighter colour than ‘buff‘ willow. Although known as white, it is really more of a natural off-white colour. I make the hoops myself here in Essex using willow sustainably grown in the UK.
These would make an ideal base for you to create your own wedding or home décor with flowers, foliage, lace, ribbons or lights added
