Dive into the enchanting world of willow crafting with this Willow Fish Craft Kit. This mini craft kit is a great introduction to working with willow and learning some simple weaving techniques.
This would make a lovely gift for your favouite crafty person. Or why not treat yourself and learn a new skill, working with willow.
*Please note, the willow in this kit requires soaking and resting before use (This will take around 6 days)
The kit contains enough materials to make 3 or 4 small fish (around 25cm long)
Kit Contents:
- Willow: good quality basketry willow rods to make the fish frames, and for weaving
- An pre-made example fish frame
- Booklet with detailed step-by-step instructions and photos.
- Pipe cleaners

You will also need:
- Secateurs
- A large bowl or bucket to soak the willow in
- An old towel
Your kit may include one or more varieties of willow, depending on what is currently available.
Due to the use of secateurs, pointed sticks and pipe cleaners, this craft kit is not suitable for younger children, older children will need to be supervised and have an adult to do the cutting with secateurs. It is advised that work/gardening gloves are worn.
