Hand woven in Essex, using sustainably grown UK willow, these eco friendly bird feeders can be used to hold fat balls, apples or other treats to feed the birds. A perfect gift for bird lovers or gardeners.
They measure approximately 60cm in length (including the handle) by 12cm diameter at the widest (The opening is approx 8cm across) They can hold 3-5 fat balls, depending on the size.
As a hand made item and with natural variation in the willow, each feeder is unique and may differ slightly from the photos.
As a natural material, the willow will eventually degrade overtime but will last longest when placed in a sheltered spot, protected from the worst of the weather and when old food is cleaned out regularly. Once it has come to the end of its life, the feeder can be broken down and added to the compost bin or garden waste.
